When Text meets Knowledge Management

February 15, 2019

The weXerlate hub offers startups and our corporate partners room for getting together and networking. The idea is that together they come up with a joined project. But sometimes two startups find ways of cooperating on cool projects. That was the case for ZAPIENS Technology, winner of the jury’s choice at the weX Pitch Night in January and Text United. Both startups have been part of the batch III Accelerator program at weXelerate. ZAPIENS is a Spanish startup that focuses on a human-centric AI virtual assistant called Zap and in this way helps employees to learn critical knowledge and to solve any question. The Austrian startup Text United is a B2B full-service translation platform, where companies can translate their all digital content in one place, using machine or human translation, or both. And it is cloud-based, giving companies access to their projects anywhere and on any device.

What is Text United’s role in the project? Elad Scharler-Plotnik, Head of Marketing at Text United, sums up that “Text United provides a 30-day free trial period with full access to all the features available in the platform: website translation with overlay editor, software & API integrations, document translation and much more. ZAPIENS opened an account with Text United for the 30-day trial period, and were very satisfied with the system and are now considering to subscribe to Text United’s service.”

ZAPIENS COO Aurelio Jimenez is really happy with the cooperation. He explains: “Text United will be of great help in our internationalization process. Initially, we’ll be able to have an updated multi-language webpage simply way. But we’ll also explore with them possible integrations to bring the automated translations into our product, increasing the value to our international customers.”
